Taurus Tracker for Sale

The 5-round Taurus Tracker 44 revolver is bad (in a good way) and burley. Alliteration aside, it’s a very compelling 44 Magnum medium-frame gun wrapped around a 4.0” barrel. The gun is 5.3” tall, 1.6” wide and 9.0” long overall. The weight is 35 ounces, or a bit over two pounds. The gun is double-action/single-action (DA/SA). The finish is matte black oxide.

In front is a fixed front serrated ramp sight while in back is an adjustable rear sight that can be adjusted for elevation and windage simply using a flathead screwdriver. The curve of the external hammer almost echoes the trigger’s curve.

The barrel is ported, which looks great and helps manage recoil. The gun features a transfer bar safety. This means that when the gun is designed not to discharge when dropped, etc. and that it should only fire when the trigger is actually pulled.

The cylinder is fluted. But the gun’s truly standout feature is its patented Taurus Ribber Grip. The name is a portmanteau for rubber and rib because it features a stack of rubber ribs that encircle the front and sides of the grip. This is brilliantly functional eye candy that does an excellent job of providing comfort and secure control of the gun’s recoil.

The medium frame Taurus Tracker 44 is Made in Brazil and imported into the US by Taurus USA, which was in Miami, but is now located in Bainbridge, Georgia.
