Jason White on Texas:  “What is there not to like about Texas Motor Speedway?  It is a fast 1.5-mile track and one that I really enjoy racing at.  The track has multiple grooves which allows you to choose the line around the track that best suits how your truck is handling.  Because it is such a fast track it is very important to have a strong engine package – which we definitely do.  We have had some great success at the 1.5-mile tracks so far this season and we are bringing the same truck we raced at Kansas and Charlotte and it is quickly becoming my favorite.  We had some bad luck last week in Dover and I can’t think of a better way to rebound than to have another strong run at Texas.”

Jason at Texas:
This will mark Jason’s 12th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the Texas Motor Speedway.  His best finish was eighth in this race during the 2009 season after starting in the 18th position.  He has led a total of three laps at TMS and has a best qualifying effort of sixth in the 2010 event.

Race Rewind:  It has been a roller coaster start to the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Jason White and Friday at Dover International Speedway continued the wild ride.  Starting in the middle of the pack, White never got into the rhythm of the race before his No. 23 GunBroker.com Ford F-150 suffered a rare blown engine on lap 13.  The devastating damage ended the race for the team and resulted in a disappointing 33rd place finish in the running of the Lucas Oil 200 at the track known as the “Monster Mile”.

The 33rd place finish dropped Jason four spots to 11th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers’ standings – nine points out of the top-ten.

“Bullet” Ready to Take on Texas:
The GunBroker.com team will be bringing the truck they nicknamed “Bullet” to the Wild West of Texas Motor Speedway.  “Bullet” last raced in Charlotte with Jason posting a solid sixth place finish.  The truck also ran earlier this year at Kansas where Jason qualified a season best fourth and led 29 laps early in the event.

Meet Jason White: Jason White will join other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers for an autograph session at Texas Motor Speedway from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. CDT on Friday.  Come see Jason and the other stars of the series before they take the green flag at approximately 8:00 p.m. CDT for the running of the WinStar World Casino 400k.

Home Sweet Home: Jason White and his GunBroker.com team will enjoy the feeling of home while in Texas this week at the Embassy Suites Dallas - DFW International Airport South.  This all-suite hotel's striking lobby features a Mediterranean-style high-rise ceiling, 10-story tropical atrium, stunning waterfall and beautiful pond with exotic fish. The hotel offers spacious two-room hotel suites equipped with a range of amenities to help you make the most of your stay in Dallas.
