Chevrolet will bare a pink spoiler in this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event at Talladega Superspeedway in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
In four starts at Talladega Superspeedway, White has improved his starting position each time. After starting second in 2010, White hopes to capture his first pole award of 2011during Friday night's time trials.
Making History?: In five NCWTS races at Talladega Superspeedway, there have been three different winners. Only two drivers (Todd Bodine and Kyle Busch) have been repeat winners. However, no driver has ever brought home their career first victory at Talladega Superspeedway in the NCWTS series. After a track-best start/finish in 2010, White hopes to capitalize on his forward progress to be the first Chevy driver to bring home "the big one" in the series.
Talladega Nights: In four starts at Talladega Superspeedway, White has led 12 laps en route to one top-10 finish (9th, 2010). White's average start at the 2.5-mile superspeedway is 15.8 including two top-five starts (5th, 2009 and 2nd, 2010), coupled with an average finish of 26.2.
Speedway Smack: White has 18 starts, since 2001, at speedways two miles in length or larger. His success includes one pole, one top-five and five top-10 finishes. The series veteran has led 22 laps with an average start of 19.3 coupled with an average finish of 21.3.
According to NASCAR's Loop Data: White holds several NASCAR Loop Data statistics at Talladega including; third among fastest drivers early in a run, eighth among fastest drivers late in a run, ninth among laps led (12). In 2010, White ran as high as first and as low as 11th, but was ranked third on average with 95 percent quality passes. With a track-best finish of ninth, White spent 93.7 percent of the 95 laps in the top-15 and brought home a driver rating of 100.9 with a box score ranking of ninth.
Whatcha Haulin?: White will pilot "JDM02,"a brand new chassis from the Joe Denette Motorsports stables in Saturday's Coca-Cola 250 presented by Fred's.

That's What He Said…Quoting Jason White:
"Restrictor plate racing is always a gamble in the truck series. Unlike the cup cars, we race in packs and it can be six rows deep, three and four wide. It's all about surviving the wrecks and being there at the end, if you can do that, you will have a shot at winning. I ran really well there last year and our main goal with four races left on the schedule is to win."
