Up for auction is a Mossberg 930 Water Fowl (Snow Goose) shotgun, chambered for 12 gauge. It features a 12+1 capacity and 28" Accu-Choke barrel. This one is a factory demo, in its original box and with warranty. Also, it comes with its factory 5+1 conversion kit and other accessories.
Mossberg's 930 is a semi-automatic (self loading) shotgun, which operates using the prooven gas piston system. It was designed to be versitile, accurate, durable, and reliable. It fires 12 gauge shells, all the way up to 3" magnum loads. Other features include: ambidextrous safety, ergonomic cocking handle, oversized bolt release button, a receiver drilled & tapped to accept scope rings or a rail, metal trigger guard, and a prooven bolt system for reliable cycling and ejection.
This auction is for the Water Fowl (Snow Goose) variant of the 930, which is especially designed for hunting and recreational use. It has a 28" long, vent rib, ported barrel for fast targetting and less felt recoil. It features Mossberg's Accu-Choke system too. Other features include a fiber optic front sight, matt blued finish, durable polymer furniture, recoil reducing rubber buttpad, and an extended 12+1 capacity.
The shotgun up for auction here is a factory demo, purchased directly from O.F. Mossberg. This means it is somewhere in between New and Used. A demo gun, is one that a factory rep. took to a gunshow or shooting event to help show off Mossberg's product line. So while it has never been sold to an individual and put on a form #4473, it has been handled and taken out of its box. It might have minor wear and small scuffs from transport, storage, and again handling. On the other hand, it is complete and functional. It has been inspected by Mossberg and has a 6 month warranty on parts and function. So it is guaranteed to work. The ATF considers it New as it has never been privately owned, but Mossberg considers it a Used Demo. It has a 'U' stamped in front of the serial to indicate its status. To put it simply, this is a virtually new gun for a used price.
Shotgun also comes with a Mossberg 5+1 conversion kit, so you can choose to go to a shorter and lighter magazine tube configuration. It comes in its original Mossberg factory box, with factory bag and owner's manual, and cable lock. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime. I have sold Mossberg factory demo guns before, and customer feedback was very positive. Thank you very much for your time and interest.
I am the owner and operator of Ozark Bear Arms, an FFL-01 firearms dealer in Northwest Arkansas. I also have some of my items for sale in my store. If an item has a bid, i will remove it from the store as soon as i am aware. If no bid, i reserve the right to end the auction if I have a local buyer.
The auction is for exactly what is mentioned in the description and shown in the pictures. If an accessory or box is not shown, it is not included.
I am happy to do business with California residents, as long as the item is legal to own in your area or can be made legal to own. Please note, I am not a gunsmith. I will also ship to AK or HI, as long as you pay the overnight or second day air shipping costs. Please understand this is a small business, so my time can be limited some days.
Also, please checkout our youtube channel and blog HERE! We have an ever growing library of indepth firearms reviews, including many types up for auction on Gunbroker.
You are welcome to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also call me at 479-209-5812, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM, Central time. Sorry but I am unable to read or respond to text messages, so please don't send them to me. One of the benefits of a small business is that I am able to provide individual customer service and am even available most weekends and evenings. I strive to answer all questions and be responsive after an item is purchased. Purchasing something online should be a simple and direct process, and I'd like to even make it enjoyable and easy. So please feel free to contact me with any questions at all that you might have.
I should not need to state this, but I will anyway just so it is clear. Gunbroker does NOT have a bid retraction system. Before bidding on an item, please be sure that you want it and can afford it. Once a bid is placed, it is perminant. If you are the high bidder, you are responsible for paying for the item; it is yours. Please do not e-mail me saying you have bid, have changed your mind, and would like me to cancel your bid. I as a seller on Gunbroker do not have the ability to cancel bids; I simply have no means of doing such a thing. Also, please read the description carefully. Do not rely solely on the photographs. The description contains important information and details about what exactly is up for auction.
I accept postal money orders and will ship with no delay. With personal or bank checks, i reserve the right to delay shipping until my own bank tells me the payment has cleared. This does not mean when you see it has cleared on your bank's end, but when my bank is satisfied it will not come back. I am happy to accept personal checks, but the buyer should be patient and expect to wait up to, or more than a week. I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. All prices reflect a 3% cash discount though, so please keep that in mind. With card payments i can normally ship with little to no delay. I do not accept PayPal for a number of reasons, so please do not ask to use their service to complete a transaction.
Payment in full is expected within 7 days of the close of the auction. If you need more time, please contact me before bidding. Usually i can be flexible or extend the timeframe, but you need to ask me first.
I ship all items using the United States Postal Service. Handguns are sent via Priority Mail, and long arms typically travel standard Ground. Please refer to the shipping section above for the rate for this item. Price does not include insurance, but does include signiture confirmation when required for firearms. I am not always able to give out tracking numbers. If this is a major problem, please do not bid. I usually ship promptly, but occasionally circumstances beyond my control could possibly cause a small delay. Again, understand this is a small business and not a large corporation like Amazon. There are only so many hours in the day, and there are many aspects to the business I must attend to.
(Lay A Ways)
Please contact me if you wish to discuss a possible lay-a-way plan. I am a small business and can not always offer this service. My usual terms are 25% up front and 30 days to pay off the balance; at no additional charges. Sorry, but lay-aways over 45 days are simply out of the question.
(Warranties & Returns)
Most guns sold are sold as 'as-is.' Returns will be allowed if the item received is not the item pictured or described. Please do note that with many 'NIB' weapons I use stock/generic representative photographs, so it would not count as grounds for a return if a new gun is not exactly like the stock photographs. Colouration to the wood or metal could vary slightly even with the exact same models. Most all new weapons have a manufacturer's warranty. If there is a problem, I am happy and willing to help in any way I can to insure that the warranty is honoured by the maker/importer. Your business is greatly appreciated and I want you to have a fully functional firearm.
Used and surplus guns are just that, used and/or have seen military service. I go to great lengths to have detailed descriptions. Please ask questions prior to bidding. I do my best to insure that used guns are mechanically sound and will mention any known flaws in the description, so read it carefully. However, I am not perfect, nor am I a gunsmith. If the buyer does find a problem, I will again do my best to help, but understand again what you have is a used firearm with an unknown history. There is no warranty on used firearms, unless otherwise stated in the description. I know this sounds ominous, but it is really not. I have sold hundreds of surplus firearms and only a tiny fraction of them have had mechanical issues and most all of those were easily resolved.
(Local & State Restrictions)
It is Gunbroker's policy that the buyer is responsible for knowing all of his/her state and local laws. I do not know where you live unless you tell me or until after you win the auction. I do my best to stay up to date on state laws, however I am not a lawyor and I do not know them all. I am not responsible for determining if a weapon is or is not legal for you to own; you are responsible. That said, if a weapon can be made legal to own in your area, I am happy to work with you to modify it to make it so. If you live in CA, NY, MA, HI, CT, NJ or any other state with restrictions, please check your laws before bidding.
Thank you for reading through all the boring stuff. I try to make it as brief as possible.
