REDUCED! TT-33 Tokarev Service Pistol; 1944 Tula Arsenal Production/Soviet Service; 7.62x25 Tokarev ~ SOLD AS CURIO ONLY. -- NOT SAFE TO FIRE ~ (Read below) 1944 Soviet Tokarev service pistol...this is a very unique sample in that it has bullet or shrapnel damage to the slide and barrel. The damage to the barrel indicates the slide was locked to the rear at the time the damage occurred. Lacking an import mark, it was likely brought back by a GI returning from WWII, the Korean conflict, or the Vietnam War. Note this gun does not have a star marking, rather an arrow inside a triangle inside a circle. According to info in Datig's excellent book on the Tokorev pistol (THE BEST! reference available in my opinion on these guns) this is not an Ishevsk marking rather it's a transitional marking used to indicate Tula mfg after most of Tula arsenals assets were moved east away from the German invasion forces to the area of Ishevsk. Due to the slide/barrel damage this pistol is considered UNSAFE TO FIRE in it's current condition. This pistol is being sold strictly as a non-firing curio/collectible. While not safe to fire, this is a unique example of a desirable wartime Soviet weapon that has seen the worst of war would be a must have addition to the serious Tokarev collector. Condition: VG condition other than the slide/barrel. Not safe to shoot. 16 more pictures available on request Terms: Credit card, USPS Money Order or check (checks held until cleared) FFL Required for shipment (C&R OK) Shipping to CONUS is Via USPS Priority Mail Insured at $25 UPS available at $35 C&R sales must go via UPS Hawaii and Alaska shipping will be more and will be quoted on request.
