This is a Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 "Hartford" as currently described on the Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Company website. Standard features on this rifle are: heavy octagon barrel, standard wood, standard wood finish, shotgun buttstock, standard length of pull (14 3/8 inch), pewter fore-end tip, hartford collar, double-set triggers, blade front sight and full buckhorn rear sights. I had Shiloh removed the standard sights and replaced them with MVA vernier sights. The original sights will come with the rifle should you want to restore it to its original configuration. The MVA sight currently on the rifle consists of the MVA Sharps 1874 Base and the Soule XLR (extra long range) with the 6.18 inch staff which provides 414 MOA. This is enough to attempt shots approaching one mile distance. The front sight is the MVA #113 Low profile spirit level globe. Additional features added when I ordered the rifle were: French Gray receiver, Traditional Steel ButtPlate, brass escutcheons and custom bedding. Included in this sale is 100 new/unfired Jamison Brass and a Lyman 3-die set including shell holder. I will accept your personal check, bank money order or USPS money order. Shipping will be $125.00. The rifle will be shipped 2nd day air and the brass and dies via UPS ground with appropriate insurance. I am not a dealer/FFL. If your dealer will accept delivery from me with a copy of my drivers license as the source document then the above shipping rate will apply. If he will accept delivery only from another dealer/FFL then add another $60.00 to the shipping cost. Sorry, no sales to California. Note: There are several minor "safe dings" on the wood. I only noticed them when I reviewed the pictures. They are not scratches or gouges but only "rubs" on the finish. They look worse in the pictures then they actually are. Also one minor bright speck on the barrel. See the pictures. Three day inspection period, you pay shipping cost to return it. No black powder has been fired, only 28 rounds loaded with 5744 and 25 rounds loaded with Trail Boss have been fired, 53 rounds in all. Will respond to questions.
