Correction about the bolt. It is a round bolt (as was utilized on this serial number) and not a flat bolt as in the description.

Up for bid is a USGI WW2 M1 Carbine produced by "Rock-Ola". It is an all-matching "Rock-Ola" parts Carbine and very collectible, and was probably mfg'ered the very early part of 1944. It is serial number 4,608,289, and in excellent condition. NO IMPORT stamp or mark, and NO rust or Pitting on the metal parts. Barrel is an undated "Rock-Ola stamped barrel and in great condition. Clear and clean riflings and No corrosion. Measures a "2 1/2' with the muzzle erosion gauge. There is NO bayonet lug scuff/scar on the top of the barrel. Front sight is the type 1 (Milled) and coded with the "R" on the top. The front barrel band is the early type and coded on the band with the "M-R". The top of the band has the two weld scars. Rear sight is the type 1 (flip) and coded with the "BR" on the right side and the small "s" on the left. There is No adjustable type 2 / 3, rear sight stake marks (craters) around the sight. The recoil Plate is coded on the top and the buttplate is a Rock-Ola. The inside metal parts are all "Rock-Ola" coded (the trigger Housing, Hammer, Sear, Trigger, Operating Slide, Flat Bolt and Firing Pin). The extractor is stamped "R" on the outside top. (Note Picture). The safety is the early push type and the Magazine Catch is the type 2A (smooth-face & short-faced) and coded with the "A-R". The stock is the type 3 (Lowwood and Oval cut) and has No splits or cracks, No M2-cut and No arsenal rebuild stamps or repairs. It has very few nicks and dings. It is coded with the "RMC" in the slingwell and the "RMC" in the box and over the crossed cannons on the right side. The matching handguard is the type 2 and coded on the bottom with the "RMC". This is a very collectible WW2 "Rock-Ola" M1 Carbine. Winning bidder is responsible for a flat shipping cost of $35.00, which includes shipping and Insurance by USPS Priority Mail.
