Serial numbers began with serial number 1000. This gun's serial number is 1292, which means it was one of the first 300 mfg. The 37th Blue book of gun values puts it at $3000.00 on page 1100. Add 100% for early mfg.first 300 revolvers.

By doing more extensive research on this pistol-it has now been determined that this is not of the first 300 mfg. because this pistol has the serial number on the outside of the frame. It was amongst the first production run done in probably 1895.Also found is the fact that the first 2 years-1893 and 1894 had black only holsters. Mine is a reddish brown and of the 1895 and latter types. Price has now been corrected.
