This is a 1985 Heckler & Koch 9mm Para P9S Sport Group III, serial number 137481. It is built on a target frame with an adjustable sear, and features a target trigger guard with a pivoting trigger stop. The accessory slide assembly with a 150mm barrel and a self-aligning Match barrel weight appears to be unused. This pistol remains in excellent original condition, except for the Pachmayr rubber grips; I have the factory plastic grips on order and will deliver them separately to the winner of this auction. It retains over 98% of the original black frame and slide finish, marred only by slight traces of holster wear on the standard slide. All components except for the grips are original and period correct. Both slides are fitted with adjustable sights. All serial numbers match on the frame, the slides, and the barrels; the barrel weight bears the last three digits of the serial number. The minimal wear on the breeches and the rails and the lack of finish wear on the front grip strap suggest that this pistol has been fired moderately ex-factory. The 9mm Para polygonal bores are mirror-bright, gaging like new at .343" go, .344" no-go; the muzzles are unmolested. As delivered, the recoil buffer was fully functional, but I replaced it with a new one anyway. The pistol wears German Ulm pressure proofs date coded IF for 1985. Discreetly applied import markings of Simpson Ltd appear under the left edge of the Sport slide. High resolution photos can be seen here. Please download and study them before bidding.

A word about pricing. This is the one of my most accurate handguns, easily capable of shooting with my best SIG P210. I am offering it for sale only because my best toys must go in order to buy toys and stuff for my newborn son. As with all my other prized but dispensable goods, I normally price them in accordance with rarity, quality, and fair market rates comporting with prices achieved by similar goods in national auctions, which is also the lowest point whereupon I would rather have the money than the gun. For example, this HK P9S Group III sold here for $5,850.00 on 18 May 2017. On this occasion only, you have a chance to name your price for this rare kit. Bid early and often.

My name is Michael Zeleny. I have been researching and collecting the SIG P210 pistol for the past 25 years. For more information on these remarkable handguns, please see my articles. You can find my blog postings related to guns at the following links: Korth, SIG P210, Manurhin MR73. I maintain the following Facebook pages: Korth Waffen, SIG P210, Korriphila, and Manurhin MR73.

All my auction listings are meant to disclose all relevant information, inclusive of any defects or damage, to the best of my knowledge. I assume full responsibility for any oversight in description or depiction.

I prefer payment via direct bank deposit, bank wire transfer, or U.S. Postal Money Orders. All payment instruments must await clearance by my bank. Credit card payments are available from my dealer, provided that the buyer pays the 3% merchant processing fee. The winning bidder should contact me with a digital copy of the receiving Federal firearms licensee’s credentials for payment instructions. Payment must be received within 7 days from auction closing. I will accommodate layaways on a 25% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due within 60 days.

All modern firearms sales will be transacted by my 01 FFL dealer as consignments on my behalf, out of his inventory, at no extra charge. The actual shipping costs are payable to my dealer in a separate transaction. All responsibility for items lost or damaged in shipment shall lie with the insurance carrier. We prefer to ship fully insured; if the buyer requests uninsured shipment, our responsibility will begin and end at proving that the article has been submitted to the shipper.

If identified in the listing as a Curio & Relic, my firearms will ship to any C&R licensee where allowed by local laws; otherwise it will ship to any 01 FFL holder in the continental U.S. I cannot accommodate private transfers of modern firearms, unless expressly stated otherwise.

I grant a three day inspection period from the time the buyer’s FFL agent receives the item, provided that no Form 4473 transfer has taken place. Inspection may include external examination, manual operation of the action with dummy ammunition, bore and chamber measurement, and headspace check. It may not involve cycling or firing live ammunition or disassembly of the firearm, including but not limited to turning any screws or removing any pins. All returns must be in the same condition the item was received. In the event of a return, the buyer shall be responsible for all shipping fees and Gunbroker charges unless the item description was mistaken. All applicable laws and GunBroker.com regulations shall be observed.

Your bid implies our binding agreement to abide by the foregoing terms. Until my reserve has been met, or a bid has been placed on a no-reserve auction lot, my auction lots shall be available for purchase in several other venues, and may be withdrawn herefrom without notice. Most of my guns sell elsewhere. If you want to win this lot, bid early and often.
