FIRST off the owner believes this is a 1906 (and so do some others). The barrel is 4 3/4" long and #'d to the pistol. My research says this makes it a 1900?????????????? Just got this in on consignment. I take a flat-fee for consignment so I do not get paid more if I BS you into paying more for this pistol. It is only in my best interest to represent it honestly for everyone's sake. That being said: THIS IS THE NICEST LUGER I've EVER had for sale in 23 years of selling guns. The pictures should tell the whole story but if you need any additional info let me know. I see NO ISSUES with this pistol whatsoever, and I've worked on Lugers frequently (Full-Time Gunsmith for 19 years), as well as sold them. The trigger is typical Luger heavy but that's a good thing as it shows the pistol has not been "messed with." The 4 3/4" barrel has a very nice bore; clean, crisp and bright. The pistol came out of one of the biggest Luger collection in the world, William "Don" Forsythe. His collection was liquidated upon his death quite a few years ago. Of course a C&R license is OK for this Luger. If you don't have one YOU must supply me with a copy of your dealer's FFL. It is not my responsibility to track it down for you. I will NOT ship this pistol to California. NOTE, I used a BRIGHT FLASH to show the detail of this pistol. For that reason some of the pics. look like the pistol has "thin" bluing in certain close ups. Take this into account when examining the photos and look at ALL of them to compare the REAL finish quality in the wider shots. The shipping and handling fee is $35 for Priority Mail shipping. The insurance cost will be 1.5% of the final cost (if you want it insured, many don't). That is the REAL cost of insurance. I will give the purchaser a two day inspection period from the delivery date. The purchase price can be refunded but NOT the shipping or insurance fees. A refund check will be sent upon the return of the pistol in the same condition it was sent. After that the consignor will be paid and the sale is final. Payment must be made with Postal Money orders, you will have to get multiple M.O.s to reach the total. If you want to send ANY OTHER FORM OF CHECK shipping will be held up until it "clears" which could easily take 10 days, maybe more. If you want to bug me every day about it JUST SEND USPS Money Orders instead! You will also forfeit the inspection period as the owner of the pistol will want to get paid, not wait for a month for everything to play out. I have had to play this game before. Most GB users, and just gun owners/collectors in general are great to deal with but SOME can turn into a real pain. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
