If you love and are fascinated by those wonderful warbirds of yesteryear, here's a VHS video that puts you right in the pilot's seat. Flying a restored P-40 Warhawk, the plane made famous by the American Flying Tigers in China just prior to our entry in World War II, the late, great Jeff Ethell takes you for a lengthy ride aboard this historic aircraft. And it's a complete, real ride, from start-up to shut-down (no computer simulations here).

A highly-experienced pilot, rated to fly dozens of various prop-driven aircraft, up to and including many of the multi-engine aircraft of the Second World War, Jeff tragically was killed several years ago while flying a P-38 Lightning (ironically, that was the type plane his father, who survived him, flew in combat in the war).

For my other great warbird video, search "Ethell".

Condition: Excellent. This tape is from my personal collection, purchased new, and viewed only three times.
