The P91™ is a .40 AUTO caliber double-action-only pistol. This model was first introduced in the 1992 Ruger® Firearms Catalog. The serial number of this pistol is 340-38873 and the testfire date is December 5, 1994. This pistol has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. It features a 4-1/2 inch barrel and high-visibility white-dot inserts on both the front and rear sights. The square notch rear sight is adjustable for windage. It has a stainless steel slide and aluminum alloy frame with molded high impact grip panels. The double-action only model has a spurless hammer. It does not have an external safety, full-cock hammer position or decocking lever. The P91™ will be shipped in its original gray plastic pistol case along with two 11-shot magazines, magazine loader, and original instruction manual and marketing materials. An original 1992 Ruger firearms catalog is also included with this auction. The pistol is being sold “as is,” and the purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. Please note that the winning bidder of this auction is responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax. The pistol is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut, and a Certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the auction.
