Rifle was given to my paternal grandfather by an old man in Columbia, South Carolina in early 1900’s. He was on his death bed and requested that it would be passed to oldest son to oldest son. It has been well cared for since then and never fired. Since I have no one to pass this rifle on to I hope this tradition will be carried on by the next custodian of this great historical firearm.
