This is your chance to turn back the clock and acquire a true M1 Garand in Excellent Condition.

This auction is for an Excellent M1 Garand from Springfield Armory with a Marlin barrel dated 1953. This rifle is in excellent condition and has H&R Bolt, a forged trigger guard and a National match op-rod. The throat gauges (4) and the muzzle gauges (2) looks like 1 ¾. The wood stock and fore grip are in excellent condition with a small ding on the underside near the (P) stamped on stock by trigger guard. The rifle was stored with the trigger guard loose so as to not compress the wood. There is a small tig weld where the barrel meets the receiver (this was a common practice for the US Gov’t to apply to firearms issued for ceremonial use.) The chamber and bore on this rifle are in excellent condition as is the gas system, and should provide you with many years of enjoyable shooting.

As the pictures and gauges show, this Garand Rifle is in beautiful condition and could easily be the centerpiece of any gun collection.
