Five new pictures added. Also new thumbnail picture. See pictures 25 thru 29. These show the rifle resting on a "R W Hart" heavy front and a heavy rear (both fully adjustable) bench rest. The front bag on the rest was custom made for me to accommodate the 3 1/4 inch wide fore end of this rifle. The rest, front and rear, is included in the sale.

Included in this sale is a Sinclair cleaning bore guide made specifically for this rifle. Also included is 90 rounds of match-prepped, primed brass. Barrel is cut for bore-rider bullets and will include three dummy rounds to indicate proper seating depth for the Hornady 750 grain A-MAX, the Barns 800 grain LRS Bore-Rider and the LeHigh 808 grain bullet # 510-170. A quantity of these bore-rider bullets will come with the rifle. Any 50 BMG cartridge can be fired in this rifle but proper hand loading will get bench rest accuracy. My best group was 5 shots inside 6.94 inches at 1000 yards fired early in the morning before the wind came up. Too much info to include in description, also other accessories available, please ask specific questions.

This rifle is available for sale to all, of course, but members of the F.C.S.A. should pay close attention. Designed for 1000 yard bench rest competition. This would be a good entry level alternative for someone on a budget and who doesn't want to wait a year to get a rifle built. This is a custom 50 BMG bench rest rifle built for long range bench rest shooting. The gunsmith was Randy Dierks, www.dierksind.com, at Action Gun Works. The rifle has a McMillan "McBros" single-shot, right bolt, left-port action equipped with a 30 MOA Weaver-Style picitiny rail. The muzzle break is a "fish gill" type also by McMillan. The barrel is from Kreiger with a heavy contour finished at 32 inches. The stock is from Tom Manners. It's color is a basic gray primer as it comes from the manufacturer. It can be painted to suit your taste. The trigger is a Jewell BR adjustable between 1.5 oz and 3.0 oz. without safety. It comes from the factory preset at 1.5 and I did not adjust it. It is adjustable for over travel, sear engagement as well as weight of pull. The receiver is pillar-bedded (3 pillars) with full contact glass under the action. The barrel is free floated from the receiver lug forward. Included in this sale will be the heavy-duty, metal reinforced case shown in the pictures. The rifle will be shipped in this case to assure maximum protection while in transit. The package will be 64 inches long, 15 inches wide, 7.5 inches deep and weigh 70 pounds. When I know your address (zip-code) and the amount of insurance required I will determine shipping cost at that time. Be aware that shipping on this package could run as high as $200.00. Before bidding make sure ownership of a 50 BMG is legal in your state. Make sure also that your FFL dealer will accept a firearm from a non-licensee, i.e. an individual (me). Most will accept delivery with a copy of the seller's drivers license as the source of the firearm to log in to their books. Some dealers, however, will only accept delivery from another FFL dealer. My local dealer charges me $65.00 for this which will be added to the total shipping cost. Payment with a USPS money order will assure prompt shipment. Certified checks and personal checks will delay shipment until they clear. No PayPal. Not set up to take credit/debit cards. Five day inspection period, you pay the shipping back if you decide to return it. Please feel free to ask questions.

I will respond promptly to any questions you may have about this rifle. My best advice, however, is to visit www.fcsa.org. This is the website for the "Fifty Caliber Shooters Association" (F.C.S.A). If you like what you see and decide to join you will receive a subscription to their quarterly publication "Very High Power". This website and publication provides a wealth of information on 50 BMG rifles in general and on this particular type of rifle in particular. Check it out.
