NO RESERVE - You are bidding on a excellent condition 1874 model Shiloh Sharps Long Range Express rifle with 34" barrel chambered in 45-110 (Serial Number B5431 shipped in 1997). This rifle looks to be built with all standard features with exception to the wood being a higher grade of fancy wood and pewter forend tip. This looks to have a long range vernier sight. This sight measures 5 3/4 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the screw. The metal is in like new condition with exception to very slight highlights on the octagon edges. There is a few very small specs in the metal near the end of the barrel. The front sight has a good sized ding in the rear left portion. The shape of the front sight was not impacted. The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or deep gouges. There are a few very slight use/handling marks on both the forend and the rear stock. There is what looks to be a blemish on the left stock below the rear tang sight in photo 9. The wood is perfect in this location. This is from glare on the angle of the wood. See the previous photo. The wood is perfect in this location. The silver tip also shows some slight blemish from use/handling. The buttplate looks to have some very slight nicks/chip on the top.
