DA-007-S-(10796)-EG-MOORE’S PATENT “TEAT-FIRE” Front Loading Revolver, ca. 1864. About 30,000 made, very popular pocket revolver, with cherry wood grips, engraved brass frame, 32 caliber 5-shot steel cylinder and 3 ¼ inch tapered steel barrel. Very popular in its time, until it’s unusual and unique ammunition became extinct by invention of the rimfire. Missing the front sight blade, and the ejector. It cocks and holds well. But cylinder doesn’t revolve; needs tune-up to work better. Good rifled bore, positive action, sound. Overall length, 7”. Markings faded, in good overall used condition. Upgrade it yourself and save money. All original, as-is.SAFETY NOTICE: We do not sell firearms, only collectible antiques, if you shoot them it is at your own risk and we are not liable for anything you do.
