Here I have a Remington 1100 semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun with a 28” barrel with fixed Modified choke. This is one of the nicer 1100’s I’ve come across. It has a vent rib barrel, GORGEOUS wood with VERY little for wear marks, and a Pachmayr White Line recoil reducer installed. The serial number is N719xxxV and the barrel stamp is NCP7. As you may know, there is no way to accurately date an 1100 by serial number, and the barrel stamp only indicates the production date of the barrel itself; since barrels can be switched around, it’s not possible to “prove” the manufacture date of the gun. However, the serial number prefix 'N' supposedly ran from 1978 to 1985 and the 'V' suffix indicates a 12 gauge 2-3/4" receiver. You can deduce what you like from this information.

This is a GREAT quality gun – it has gorgeous grain in the wood stock and has beautiful checkering. It has, of course, been used, and it does show a few normal signs of wear, but not many – this one has been VERY well maintained and I don’t think it’s seen much action. The left side of the receiver does have a vertical scratch running through the N in the serial number and going straight up to the top of the receiver as well as a small scratch that goes through the two zeros in "1100." The right side of the receiver is in fantastic condition – almost 100%. A little of the chrome on the magazine release lever is worn off, but this part could easily and inexpensively be replaced with a new one if desired, but it’s not a huge concern if you’re buying the gun as a shooter.

This is a consignment gun from a client of mine. He tells me that he has shot the gun and that everything works perfectly. My function tests here in the shop confirm that everything APPEARS to be in good working condition, but I have not shot the gun myself.

PLEASE be sure to look through ALL of our detailed photos of the gun so you can make your own assessments of condition -- photos say MUCH MORE than I can put into words!

No warranty expressed or implied on used firearms. For your own safety, please have your local gunsmith check out any used firearm you purchase BEFORE shooting it.

As with ALL of our long guns, we will ship this one in a protective soft-sided case (a $30 retail value, which pays for your shipping!!) and pack that inside a cardboard carton for safe transport. We still strongly recommend that you take advantage of our shipping insurance offer (details below), though, just in case a carrier decides to get rough with the package while in transit to its' new home.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions – I’ll be happy to answer them for you.
