Target stand not included, but sold separately Targets purchased will not be painted. -Engagement Distances and Caliber Considerations * NO ARMOR-PIERCING ROUNDS SHOULD BE FIRED ON ANY STEEL TARGETS 1. Pistol Caliber Considerations: -10 yards is the minimum recommended shooting distance for all pistol calibers -1/4" AR500 can sustain centerfire calibers up to .45ACP -3/8" AR500 can sustain every caliber up to magnum rounds -1/2" AR500 is simply unnecessary for pistol calibers. 2. Rifle Caliber Considerations: -100 yards is the minimum recommended shooting distance for all rifle calibers. -1/4" AR500 is not recommended for rifle calibers -3/8" AR500 can sustain every rifle caliber up to .308 -EX: .223/5.56, 5.45X39, 7.62X39, 7.62X51 NATO and similar rounds -1/2" AR500 can sustain rifle calibers up to .300 and .338 Magnum calibers 3. Shotgun Considerations: -Shotgun slugs will significantly mark the steel, and are not recommended at distances less than 50 yards. -Steel shot should NEVER be used with steel targets. -Buck shot of any size will not damage the steel, any more than twelve .38 caliber pistol bullets fired individually will. 00 Buck is fine. -Firearms Safety Rules Always Abide by the firearms safety rules: 1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded. 2. Never point your firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire. 4. Keep the firearm on safe until you intend to fire. 5.
