Very Nice Used Rogers & Spencer .44 caliber Army Revolver. Delivered to US Government after the civil war. Has a 7.5" octagon barrel with a very strong bore with some very light pitting. Action is strong and indexes properly. Nipples are in excellent condition. Serial number is #3363 and is all matching and is also found on frame, butt, cylinder, barrel, loading lever and on the back of both grip panels. Grips are solid and have a very nice deeply struck, "RPB" cartouche, on left panel. Rear lower edge, of right grip panel, shows an older professional repair. Screw heads are all nice and un-buggered. Metal finish is all Plum to Brown and grey patina. Numerous "Inspector's" markings, "B","P", etc. are found on frame, hammer, barrel, cylinder, etc. Top of frame reads, "ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA N.Y." Buyer pays $35.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
