This auction is for the Remington Model 17 shotgun shown. It is a pump action 20 Ga shotgun with a 25-1/2" barrel. The barrel appears as though it has been cut back, it chokes Cylinder but does have a rabar bead installed. This shotgun was made in 1933. The overall condition is good to very good. The shotgun retains much of it's original blued metal finish. The finish shows edge wear and is thin along the bottom of the magazine tube. The barrel shows some scattered light surface rust freckling. The checkered walnut forearm and matching butt stock are in good condition with some marks and finish wear from use. The original butt plate is in good condition, no cracks or chips. The bore is excellent, clean and shiny and the action functions fine. Overall, a nice solid Remington Model 17 in a desirable chambering. C&R OK. NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking
