This is an original British artillery friction primer. It was used to discharge a muzzle loading artillery piece. The US and CS had a hard time making their own primers fast enough, so they imported British primers like this. Condition is excellent, and has not been fired.

Use – This vintage ammunition is antique, and not sold for actual use.

Shipping - Buyer pays actual shipping/insurance costs. You will be invoiced based on your GunBroker address. UPS Ground - ORM-D shipping must be used.

Restrictions - No live ammunition/device shipping to AK, HI, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Oakland, Napa, P.O. Boxes, Military or other locations with restrictions. NY must provide an FFL. CT and MA must provide permit/certificate. NJ and IL must provide FOID. No sales to minors, and proof of age 21 must be sent with payment.

  • There is a 3 day inspection period. If not happy, just return it. However, you will pay shipping both ways.
  • Returns must be in the original condition, and insured.
  • Shipments must be made to the address on your ID or Gunbroker account.
  • UPS Ground must be used, and the insurance covers the package until dropped at your door.
