Set contains ten rounds, five tactical and five target practice. See photos for description of each round. All stages of development of this family are represented, from the initial copper-rotating band variants to the current sintered-iron banded types. All are presented in a segmented box for easy storage and display. You may assume that the tracer elements in the few tracer rounds are live, but are not hazardous, however this set is not sold to those under 18 for that reason. The three projectiles with the yellow-painted bodies have completely inert front sections even if there is a tracer element in the rear section; we're certain of that because we assembled the nose caps onto the projectiles "in house" so can guarantee that only air is present in the front compartment, NO energetic material of any kind is in there. Some of the rounds in the set are quite scarce, for example, the two-tone "wide-band" experimental TP round, in possession of very few collectors today. The projectiles are slipped into polished, fired cartridge cases so you may pull them out easly for examination, as the base profiles vary significantly between rounds. Contact us if you would like to purchase new, empty brass cases, M103, if you have already purchased one of these sets from us. Note that the black lettering shown on the case is ONLY IN THE PHOTO for your reference and is not on the cases themselves. See our other auctions, we have hundreds of items in various categories!
