Steyr GB Ser# P14793: Ultra rare combat pistol from the early 1980's. This pistol incorporated many highly advanced features that are somewhat common place now. First it was a HUGE capacity for the early 80's. This pistol comes with TWO factory original 18 round capacity magazines. One is blued, one is phosphate. The pistol also utilized polygonal rifling, which today is somewhat commonplace but then was extremely modern. It may have also been the first to use a double action design with de-cocker only lever. This also used a unique operating system referred to as Gas Bleed delayed blowback. This is the more desirable variation with the spur hammer and smooth (non serrated trigger shoe) These are considered the most crisp and best feeling trigger system of the entire small production run. In fact most pistol you will see for sale will have the combat hammer and serrated trigger. This pistol is also in EXCELLENT condition as you can see by the pictures. Only a few small spots of handling wear, a light area of high edge wear on the right side of the slide and only minimal evidence of live firing. The bore is of course mirror bright and shiny. The original crinkle finish on the frame and barrel port are perfect. This would be a hard example to upgrade on. Winner pays $25.00 shipping to FFL. _____________________________________________________________****NOTE FOR PA BIDDERS*** if you live in Pa this is subject to sales tax, NO EXCEPTIONS.
