This is a gorgeous Colt Government Model in 38 super caliber. It is brand new unfired in the original box. The first two pictures are taken in natural light. The 38 super is a very hard to find caliber in the big Colts. The magazine follower show no marks from being loaded. The only detraction is that some dummy had to take it apart and there is a light “dummy scratch” as the dummy did not know how to put it back together properly. ++++++I want you to be happy with your purchase, so please ask any and all questions you want BEFORE bidding and pictures are part of the description. RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY IF THERE HAS BEEN A FAILURE ON MY PART TO ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THE GUN. Three day non-firing inspection period to start on the date of delivery. If you desire to return the firearm, you must contact me before the three day inspection period has expired . Returns must be well packaged , and arrive here in the EXACT condition sent. If there is a problem please contact me before shipping any returns.++++++ Since even if I have shot the gun I can't attest to the strength or suitability of the gun for modern ammo, this is being sold primarily as a collector's item. This in no way relates as to the safety of the gun, but just means that you should have it checked by a competent gunsmith before firing and that shooting is at your own risk. It is too bad that in today's society that a disclaimer must be stated for something that should be obvious. An FFL is required to ship and a C&R is fine for this. Shipping will be $30. INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AND OPTIONAL AT BUYERS DISCRETION. BUT SINCE NEITHER THE POST OFFICE OR UPS ARE KNOWN FOR HONORING THEIR INSURANCE IT IS IN MY OPINION A WASTE OF MONEY.***** INSTEAD OF INSURANCE, I SHIP “ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED WHICH GIVES MORE PROTECTION THAN THE INSURANCE THAT THEY DON'T HONOR ANYWAY. *****Payment by Postal money orders preferred and will usually ship next business day. Other money orders and bank checks may have to clear a minimum of 5 business days before shipping.********I DO NOT take credit cards or pay-pal since they are so anti-gun******** NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS PLEASE. ****************(SINCE ACCORDING TO THE ATF IT IS LEGAL FOR ME TO SHIP A FIREARM TO AN FFL, IF YOUR DEALER WILL NOT ACCEPT SHIPMENT FROM A C&R LICENSE OR FROM A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL FOR A NON C&R GUN THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA $35 CHARGE AS THIS IS WHAT IT COSTS ME TO HAVE MY DEALER GO THROUGH THE TIME AND EFFORT TO ENTER IN HIS BOOKS AND SHIP THE GUN.) ************** With prior approval, I do offer Lay-A-Way. TERMS... 4 Payments (minimum of) 25% due monthly first payment due within 7 days... A Lay-A-Way is a final transaction! All payments will be confirmed by email with balance showing... Any DEFAULT on monthly payments will constitute breach of terms and voids sale with zero refund. I will ship after full payment and a FFL is received.
