Up for sale is a used USGI M1 Garand stock made by Winchester (WRA) with original WB cartouche (faint). Was either factory made for the later trap-door butt plate or was factory modified from original no-trap configuration. This stock has plenty of wear and issues and has been through at least a couple rebuilds, maybe more. The "WB" portion of the cartouche (but not the "WRA") is visible but faint, as is the ordnance wheel and the original WRA circle-P proof on the grip. It has a great SA/GAW cartouche. It's been stripped (not by me), has a serial number (I think) stamped into the bottom of the butt, and has a recess in the bottom of the grip where there was evidently a medallion. It also now has a short barrel channel, but would have had a long channel when it was produced. I cannot see the remnants of a long channel. On the front of the stock (where the ferrule would go), there is what looks like a large "2" and maybe a "C" or "G".

Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail insured. If shipping ends up being less than the quoted amount, I will refund any whole-dollar difference.

I will allow a no-questions-asked return within 3 days of receipt. However, unless I have grossly misrepresented something, the buyer will have to pay shipping both ways and my auction fees. If I have made a MAJOR error, the buyer will get a full refund (they won't lose a penny).

If payment is made via USPS money order, I will do my best to ship within 2 business days. If payment is via any other method (i.e., cashier's check or non-USPS money order), I will have to wait for payment to clear. I will not accept personal checks for this item.

Potential trades I'm currently looking for (for any of the stuff I'm selling, but you MUST ask before bidding) are specific parts for a late 1940 Springfield M1 Garand rifle (S/N around 80,000) or specific parts for a Winchester "WIN-13" M1 Garand rifle from 4/1945.
