Very rare complete set of Winchester bore display fobs. These were used by dealers to advertise the caliber of the current years Winchester rifles while on display on the store rack. I cannot confirm but would guess the year somewhere around the mid-70's to the end of the 80's? I've seen individual examples but never a complete set. These were taken out of original stapled package for pictures only. Have never been used. The auction is for the pictured and described firearm only. Please REVIEW THE IMAGES, and ask questions before you bid by emailing me directly at dads.guns@yahoo.com or calling me at 715-520-0173. I realize the images may leave something to be desired by some. I am not a professional photographer and do not have a professional camera or studio. If you are not comfortable with my description please do not bid. Unless otherwise noted, I sell “used” items. I do my best but, there may be the occasional scratch, blemish, or dinger I miss in my description. I understand “excellent” as much as the next “gun guy” but I have NEVER seen even an exhibition grade firearm that did not have at least one minor flaw. I am a Gunsmith with over 20 years experience. I inspect the described item visually. I list as they came to me and leave it to the new owner to clean as they see fit. I’d have to tack on additional pricing for the time to do this so it’s intended to save the buyer some money, not to hide the condition of the item. I make NO warranty as to condition. If you know something about this listing I should know and have not included, please make me aware of it. You are welcome to make offers but do it knowing I can’t keep the “lights on and the insurance paid up” with stories of what you would like to pay, what your dad bought one for when he was a kid, what advertised retail was in 1898, you saw one for at a garage sale, your neighbor’s wife’s mom’s sister’s father-in-law offered you one for a while back, or what you can afford. By bidding the buyer is responsible for making sure this item is legal to own in their locality. Winning bidders are responsible for their winning bid and payment per site terms of use. There have been issues with contacts through the Gunbroker system going to my spam and thus not getting read or replied to. This is for sale at my shop and will be pulled off the shelf only if there is an active bid. Insured shipping to lower 48 included in winning bid price. There is an additional shipping charge of $15 if the item does not fit in a small USPS Flat Rate box mailer. Payment must be USPS Money order unless alternative is agreed to prior to bid being placed. I hold shipping for 3-5 days regardless of payment type except of course EFT (add $10 for fees charged me to accept this form of payment) and cash. I do not accept credit or debit cards for payment. I will accept gold and silver at face value also. Payment is required within 7 days of the close of auction.
