SB Tactical SBX AR Pistol Stabilizing Brace - FDE

The SBX Pistol Stabilizing Brace, a second generation to the SB15 Pistol Stabilizing brace, a shooter's aid that is designed to improve the single-handed shooting performance of buffer tube equipped pistols. The SBX features a slimmer design with a thicker strap for extra stability. This veteran-designed accessory enhances accuracy and reduces felt recoil when using an AR-style pistol. Made from high-quality, elasto-polymer, the SBX15 is manufactured to close tolerances and fits all pistols equipped with an AR-style buffer tube 1.0” – 1.2” in diameter. The Pistol Stabilizing Brace uses the operator’s forearm to provide stable support, thereby minimizing accuracy-robbing spin and shift. A flexible cuff with two adjustable nylon straps allows the SBX15 to be custom fit to any user.

ATF has reviewed this product and determined that attaching the SBX to a handgun does not alter the classification of the firearm or subject the firearm to NFA control if the SBX is used as designed—to assist shooters in stabilizing a handgun while shooting with a single hand.

The SBX Stabilizing Brace is not to be used as a shoulder stock. Using the brace as a stock while installed on a pistol constitutes a “redesign” of the device according to the ATF and misuse of the brace may subject the user to severe criminal penalties. If used as a stock, the resulting firearm will be subject to all provisions of the NFA and all NFA rules would apply.
