Barrett M82 .50 BMG NEW IN BOX with Burris Eliminator III Laser Rangefinding Rifle Scope 4-16x 50mm X96 Reticle Matte with Wired Remote

The M82, standardized by the US Military as the M107, is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle developed by the American Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company. It is used by many units and armies around the world. Despite its designation as an anti-materiel rifle, it is used by some armed forces as an anti-personnel sniper rifle. As the first shoulder fired semi-automatic .50 caliber rifle, the Model 82A1 has been carefully honed, studied and then refined again. The result is low felt recoil, self-loading action and accurate firepower that never slows down.  Emergency iron sights provided, nerves of steel are not.

Now for this Optic, Hunters have gained confidence and extended their effective range with the Burris Eliminator. With the Eliminator III, hunters will feel even more confident with the X96 ballistic reticle. The X96 give the shooter additional range, windage compensation, and is spot on anywhere through the 4-16x power range. Any magnification, any caliber and nearly any range! With the Eliminator III hunters can range the target and almost instantly receive distance and an illuminated holdover point calculated from the specific ballistic information of your ammunition. The updated ergonomic button designs and enhanced extreme range ballistic programming make this unit as simple and effective as possible. The Eliminator III is the ultimate in long range hunting optics and provides a level of sophistication only dreamt of until now. The Eliminator III comes with a programming book, and there is a web site app to help get the precise programming numbers you need, based on your elevation, atmospheric condition, and cartridge of choice. The Eliminator III 4-16x50mm is now available with a Remote Cable Switch to activate the On/Range button from any position the shooter desires The Remote Cable Switch is flexible, and has a length of 14-24 inches to accommodate various mounting positions. Push button activation is simple and repeatable.

For more than three decades, the Model 82A1 has been carefully honed, studied and then refined again. The result is a feat of engineering so infinitely precise it is hard to believe it’s man-made. As the first and only semi-automatic .50 caliber rifle available, the Model 82A1 continues to blaze new territory. Its chamber is chrome-plated and dimensioned for both civilian and military ammunition. The extractor and ejector are proven to work under any condition, and close tolerances on every part allow it to function in all environments. The muzzle brake, dual barrel springs and long mainspring design make this iconic rifle comfortable and exciting to shoot. For owners that want to swap their .50 caliber configurations to .416 caliber, upper conversion units are available on the Barrett web site. The Model 82A1 fits into a regular sized carrying case. Although it’s transported as a disassembled upper and lower receiver, it can be ready to fire in under a minute. The scope remains mounted on the upper receiver, maintaining zero. The rifle’s M1913 optics rail has a 27 MOA taper to take full advantage of the scope’s elevation travel.
