I have for sale a 12 gauge Scott & Sons English double barrel muzzleloading shotgun from the mid to late 19th century. I have used this shotgun for several years in NMLRA shotgun matches and for squirrel hunting. The damascus barrels are 30 inches long. It has been a good shooter. The bores have been honed fairly smooth but some old pitting still remains and it says "12" under the barrels but I use 11 gauge wads. The barrels clean up good after shooting. The nipples are re-tapped for 1/4 x 28 thread. There is some choke in one of the barrels (the left i think) The locks work well and the triggers are crisp with good half cock notches. This shotgun could be used in the squirrel woods by an experienced muzzleloading shooter or hung over your fireplace. Like all antiques you should have an experienced gunsmith inspect it before shooting. Shipped insured by Priority Mail
