150 (8.5 x 11) Self Correcting Paper Shooting Targets for hand gun or rifle (3 pads of 50 targets each). These targets are printed in black and bright red ink on #60 offset (a little heavier than copy paper). They are padded for convenience. This target allows you to correct shooting problems on your own. The center bullseye is 2 13/16", the outer ring is 8". FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING OUR TARGETS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND SHIP FAST! In answer to a popular question concerning use of the self-correcting target: The distance that you stand from the target can vary. An experienced shooter will be much farther away than someone who has just started shooting. This target is designed to help diagnose the common mistakes shooters make with their hands, head, and most importantly, the trigger finger. I recommend standing close enough to hit the paper consistently. For most people that is between 10 to 20 feet (closer if necessary). Just make sure you are shooting in a safe environment. Shooting at close range can be very dangerous without a proper back stop. Shoot enough rounds to see a pattern in your misses and to see where the majority of you shots landed in relation to the red bullseye on the target. The object is to bring all your shots inside the red bullseye of the target by correcting the mistakes the patterns in your misses show. When that happens you can move back and start over again. There is a lot of information available to aid in solving shooting problems. Experiment with many different solutions until you find one that works. Most people are making more than one mistake ( I was making 3). It took a while to figure out and correct. It takes patients and practice to become a good shot. There is no better way to spend an afternoon. Good shooting and be safe.
