Excellent 1967 Colt 1911 National Match! Box, papers, Target grips!

Up for auction today is a real-deal Colt 1911 NM pistol. This pistol is in excellent condition, and comes with all factory accessories in addition to a pair of walnut Target Grips.

This pistol was manufactured in 1967, the national match came standard equipped with the following: Match Grade barrel, Collet-style bushing, flat mainspring housing, adjustable trigger stop, hand fitted slide with enlarged ejection port, and adjustable match target sights. The grips have the Colt gold medallion, and the pistol has the “NM” suffix to the serial number.

Included in the original factory box are all factory accessories and paperwork, as well as a pair of era-correct target grips with palm-swell and thumb rest.

Overall, this pistol is in excellent condition. The blue finish is extremely deep as to be expected from a Colt of this era, and has an excellent overall condition. Please note, the light “spots” in some of the photos is simply oil transfered from the sheepskin case. Once the pistol was wiped down (as seen in later photos), the surface returned to it’s mirror finish. That said, we did notice a few very small “pits” on the the slide near the muzzle. These few small spots are not deep and no larger than the size of a BB, and we did not attempt to buff them out. Please see the photos to judge the condition for yourself, and feel free to ask any questions before you bid on this fine pistol.
