This New Model Single Six® has a serial number of 65-17079, and the manufacture date is February 4, 1977. It has a black anodized aluminum-alloy grip frame fitted with American walnut grip panels. The panels are uncheckered, and have a dull polyurethane-varnish finish. The revolver is equipped with a 4-5/8” barrel with a ramp front sight and a click adjustable rear sight. It comes with two interchangeable cylinders, one chambered in .22 long rifle, and the other is a .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. It will be shipped in its original red-hinged cardboard box (where it had been stored for 40 years) along with an original instruction manual and purchaser record card. The extra cylinder is kept inside a red felt pouch placed inside its own cardboard box. The revolver appears to have not been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture, and is being sold “as is.” The purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. The revolver is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut, and a Certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the auction. Note: the winner of this auction will be responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax.
