This week’s auction item is a 300 Win Mag caliber KM77RBZ MKII rifle. This model was first introduced in the 1997 Ruger Firearms Catalog. The serial number on this rifle is 789-00531, and the rollmark date is October 19, 2001. This rifle has not been fired beyond normal factory testing. Features include a 24-inch satin stainless steel barrel with no sights. The receiver is factory machined to accommodate Ruger scope rings (included with this rifle). The laminated hardwood stock has a black rubber recoil pad with embossed Ruger® eagle logo. There are sling swivel studs attached to the forend and buttstock. The steel pistol grip cap also features the Ruger® eagle logo. The M77® Mark II rifle has a steel hinged floorplate and trigger guard with a staggered box magazine that holds four cartridges. The rifle is being sold “as is” and will be shipped in the 50th Anniversary rifle box it had been stored in along with the original instruction manual. A 1997 Ruger® Firearms Catalog is also included with this auction. The purchaser assumes all liability for the rifle’s safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. The rifle is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut, and a Certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the auction. Note: the winner of this auction will be responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax.
