GunBroker.com is working to help you find just the items you are looking for. The new search results page has a number of features designed to help improve your searching experience.
Narrow Your Search
The new Narrow Your Search box allows you to focus on exactly the type of item you are looking for without having to ever leave the search results page. This box allows you to refine your search using convenient checkboxes to select exactly the type of items you want. Simply check the boxes you want and click the search button. You can even refine your search terms right on the page.
BuyNow! Items
Finding items that are available to BuyNow! is easier than ever with the new search results page. This page now has three tabs for the items returned: All Items, Auctions and BuyNow!. With these three tabs users can separate the items by purchase format if they wish. Now when you look at the BuyNow tab you can find things you can immediately purchase instead of having to bid. Also, items on the BuyNow tab show sorted by Price as the default to help you find the best deal on what you are looking for.
Categories
Looking for items within a specific category is available via the "Subcategories" list on the left-hand side of the search results page. This list shows you the categories that contain the most matches to your search terms by category allowing you to go directly to the type of item you are looking for.
Advanced Search
We have also made many improvements to Advanced Search. Here are some highlights.
Completed Items
GunBroker.com has changed the way users search for completed items. If you are looking to search completed items, it is now only available via the "Advanced Search" page. You can access Advanced Search by clicking the black "Advanced" button in the header of the page. When you get to Advanced Search, Completed Items is the second tab on the page.
This change is the first step in improving searching on completed items. More changes will be made in the future to improve this function for you.
Item Number
Item number searching is no longer a separate advanced search function. Searching by item number has always been available simply by typing the item number into the search box. This eliminates the need for a separate search feature.
Seller Name
Search by Seller has now been improved to allow you to search not only seller and timeframe but now all the advanced search features including keywords, condition, and pricing. This will allow you to more quickly find what you are looking for.

GunBroker.com, the world's largest internet auction site for firearms and related accessories, reported a 25.4% increase in 2011 Cyber Monday sales activity over 2010, signaling a strong final month for online sales of hunting and shooting sports equipment.
"The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Cyber Monday online sales were up approximately 18% from a year earlier, but we are happy to report that GunBroker.com performed far better than average with an increase of 25.4% over Cyber Monday in 2010," reported Don Hall, GunBroker.com Chief Operating Officer. "We are confident that this bodes very well for the purchase of new and used firearms and accessories by GunBroker.com's nearly 2,000,000 registered users for the balance of the year," Hall said.
GunBroker.com recently announced a major update to its home page to accommodate a significant increase in "Showcase" Listings which alternate on the home page of the popular website.

NSSF members will find free wireless service among many other amenities in the NSSF Member Lounge and Business Center, which serves as a relaxing place for members to take a break from the show floor, network and conduct business.

GunBroker.com has changed the look of our email notifications. We will now be sending emails in HTML format, which will include formatted text and graphics, giving you a better user experience. Our system sends notifications both as HTML and Text-only formats to your email program, so if you have configured your email viewer to receive Text-only emails, you will not miss any messages.
A few reminders:
- Our email notifications will include the first and last name you registered with on your GunBroker.com account, and your GunBroker.com User Name.
- We will never ask you for your password, social security, bank, credit card or other information via email. We will never send an email asking you to call a telephone number. We never include forms within an email asking you to enter information.
- We will never ask you to reply to the message with confidential information. We always ask you to sign into GunBroker.com and go to the My GunBroker section to provide information. Any messages from GunBroker.com Customer Support requesting information will also be in the My Support section of My GunBroker.
- We do not include Buyer or Seller full contact information (phone, address, real name) in email notifications. You are always required to login to the site to view any pertinent information.
- We send out emails containing links, but all links should begin with http or https and look like: http://www.gunbroker.com/ There should never be any long string of numbers (ie. 111.234.113.81) or % signs in the URL. After clicking a link in an email you must verify that the Web Address URL shown on the web page in your web browser is still the same as it should be.
- When in doubt, start at the GunBroker.com home page. Type www.gunbroker.com in your browser.
- We do not include attachments to our emails.
