America Online (AOL) has some features and functionality that can sometimes inadvertantly block this (and other) sites.
Mail Controls
AOL contains a facility called Mail Controls. Mail Controls allows you to block all mail originating on the Internet to your AOL account. If you set this contol, we will not be able to send you your registration confirmation message, nor will we be able to answer your requests for help or technical support. You will not be able to receive email from winning bidders or persons you have bought items from.
To unblock Internet mail to your AOL account, please go to AOL and enter the keyword: MailControls. You must turn off Mail Controls or else you will not be able to receive email from us, nor from any sellers you buy from or buyers you sell to.
If you do not do this, we cannot send you email messages and you will not be able to use this site.

Restricted Sites
GunBroker.com has been classified as a restricted adult site by AOL. You must change a setting in your AOL browser to be able to access us. Thanks to Blakely3 for this info! To do this:
- Enter My AOL
- Select Preferences
- Select WWW
- Go to Security
- In the box labeled "zone" select "Restricted Sites Zone"
- Change security from High (Default) to medium. This will still warn you with a
dialog box asking you if you are sure every time you send or receive something
from what AOL considers a "Restricted Site".
Registration Problems
If you are unable to register, or do not receive a registration confirmation, please send us a message at: support@GunBroker.com. Please let us know whether the problem was during registration or the confirmation process. If you got an error message, please let us know what the message said.
