The Armscor/Rock Island Armory (RIA Imports) VRBP-100 is a 5+1 capacity 12-gauge semi-auto Bullpup (hence the BP) shotgun. The matte black anodized gun is largely a mass of 7075-T6 aluminum with a polymer stock.

The bullpup configuration makes the gun compact. The gun’s empty weight is 7.94 pounds and 8.82 pounds loaded. A 3” chamber that handles 2 3/4" and 3” shells backs the 20” contoured barrel. Overall height is 7” and overall width is 2”. The real measure is the gun’s 32” overall length that’s just 12” longer than the barrel. For comparison, RIA’s own 20” contoured barrel VR80 is similar in weight, height and width but 40” in overall length!

A long Picatinny rail crests the receiver. A pair of black flip up sights sit atop it at front and back. The rear sight is adjustable. The forend has a pair of long trapezoidal ports on either side. There is also a long Picatinny rail that you can attach to either side.

In front, you can attach any of the included Mobil choke tubes (IC, Full and Mod). The stock and receiver/handguard combo is compact with plenty of scalloped diagonal recesses and lightening ports that both save weight and add to the aesthetics. The pistol grip has three distinct finger recesses and the forend has nice texturing too. There is some practicality too as this bullpup comes with rubber spacers to adjust length-of-pull. In back is an anti-slip grooved thick black buttpad.

VRBP-100s come with a pair of 5-round magazines, but you can also get aftermarket 9-round and very long 19-round magazines to go with the VRBP-100. These magazines are compatible across the range of VR series shotguns.
