The CZ-USA Ringneck side-by-side 28” barrel length shotgun was discontinued in 2015 in favor of the newer CZ-USA Sharp-Tail. Until then, the Ringneck was available in all gauges, meaning 12-gauge, 16-gauge, 20-gauge, 28-gauge and .410 bore. This classically styled shotgun hit the marks of being premium in performance yet still rather affordable compared to much of its competition. Both the lithe forend and Prince of Wales rounded grip bottom stock are beautiful. These guns feature Turkish walnut stock and single selective triggers.
Both 12-gauge and 20-gauge models have a Greener Top Cross Bolt that locks the barrels by pinning the barrel/rib extension to the receiver for improved lockups. These Ringnecks also feature a strong bottom locking lug for the same. Cool fact: each Ringneck model has its own specific frame size and comes with five choke tubes.
There was also a separate mechanically identical companion model: the Ringneck Target. This was also an affordable side-by-side shotgun, but this one was optimized for clay shooting. The key differences were a 30? barrel and a full-size target stock in lieu of the standard Ringneck’s Prince of Wales grip. They also come with an extended choke set. The Ringneck Target features a beautiful case-hardened receiver finish.
