Up for bid is a hardcover book COLT CAVALRY & ARTILLERY REVOLVERS a continuing study, by Kopec and Fenn. Book contains 304 pages of mostly B&W with some color photos and an intimate look at the Colt SAA Cavalry & Artillery models. Dust cover and book both show light use only.

We just bought a couple of hundred gun books and added some to our library...these are the duplicates and there are a bunch on GB. Win more than one and we're happy to combine shipping as much as possible. No returns on books please.


NEW HOURS are Tuesday through Saturday 9am-5pm EST and shipping and correspondence will reflect that.

Insurance is optional at the high bidders discretion. Please contact us if you want insurance.

Shipping will be a bit higher if you live in Alaska or Hawaii and we'll include this information in your invoice.

  • My terms are a one week, no questions asked return of your money, less shipping if you should be unhappy with your purchase for any reason.

  • All we require is that the item be returned in the same condition it was sent and that the buyer pays for return shipping.

  • We are FFL dealers, not gunsmiths. We have not testfired nor checked headspace on any of these firearms. Please have your local gunsmith check out any firearm you purchase from us or any other used firearm you buy prior to shooting it.

  • Our payment options are Money Orders, Bank or Cashiers Checks. We do NOT accept paypal or personal/business checks nor any other form of payment.

  • Items are normally shipped within 2 days of receipt of payment. Most of our customers are receiving their purchase within 2 weeks of auctions end.

  • We ship to the United States only.

  • If you don’t have a Untied States address please don’t bid or ask us if we’ll ship to your country.

  • We will include a copy of our FFL license with all modern and C+R firearms purchases for your dealer.

    How many rounds have been fired through this gun?

    Guns don't come with bullet counters...unless we're selling a new in the box gun from our distributor, we're not the original owner and have no idea how many rounds a previous owner fired.

    Does the listing include the box, papers, rings, scope, hard case, etc

    All our listings will show via photos and contain via text/description everything that is included with the auction. If you don't see it in the photos or we didn't describe it in our text...we don' t have it and it's not part of the auction

    Do you offer a layaway

    We do not offer layaways.


    We don't take online trades.


    Please don't offer us less or ask how much we'll take off our opening bid.

    We do not end auctions early. It's against GB rules and it's not fair to those GB users who have already placed a bid.

    Hours of Operation

    We are open Tuesday through Saturday 9am-5pm EST and are closed Sundays, Mondays and most major holidays. My staff works hard while they're at the shop, but they do not answer emails or phone calls after hours, weekends or holidays. Please don't send multiple "panic" messages if we don't respond to you instantly. We have lives outside of work just like you do and we'll take care of you as soon as we can when we're at work, thank you.

    Shipping AND Handling

    Shipping is expensive...the carriers raise their rates all the time. We have no control over this. Handling also costs me money. I pay for boxes, peanuts, tape, bubble wrap and pay my shipper to wrap items. Shipping AND handling cost is posted TWICE in each of my listings. It is not negotiable and we do not honor special requests to ship it any other way than described. Please don't bid, win and then complain about the cost of shipping. It's annoying, rude and unnecessary. You saw the cost PRIOR to bidding, therefore by Gunbroker's contract you AGREE to the terms posted therein by placing a bid. We DO happily combine shipping when it's possible and will gladly work with the buyer to help save some money by shipping 2 or more items in one box. If what you won is too big to safely pack in one box, we will ship in the smallest number of boxes possible, again whenever possible but we can't do it every single time.

    Why do I have to include proof of age?

    We sell guns, ammunition and sharp objects for a living. This is an online sale...and since we can't see the person face to face, we do ask for proof of age on antique firearms, ammunition and certain other items. Most folks simply photocopy their drivers license. Others prefer to send a short SIGNED statement of age with their payment. Either way, this information is filed away with the item number you won. We don't release this information to anyone for any reason. We're simply covering ourselves. If sending proof of age is a hardship for you, please don't bid on the item.

    Why won't you take my personal check?

    We USED to accept personal checks with a 10 business day hold. We no longer accept checks because a small but extremely vocal number wanted the convenience of writing it from home, but then felt it was appropriate to badger us daily or more than daily with..."did you deposit it yet?, did you ship yet? it cleared MY bank, why haven't you shipped yet? and my all time favorite, "when my check arrives, call me and let me know when you've OPENED the envelope." Again, we want to ship your item as quickly as possible. Each time we stop to answer questions such as these, is time not spent getting a package to the new owner. Thank you.

    How do I know you're not a scam?

    Believe it or not we get this one from time to time. We have a number next to our's our feedback rating. It tells the world what our previous buyers think of our handling of the transaction and how much they liked or didn't like the item they purchased. Please take a moment and read some of the feedback. We don't need to talk on the phone to assure you we're real.

    I bought an item from you and I'm not happy with it...what do I do?

    Please let us know you're not happy (we don't need or require a reason) and send it back to us in the same condition we shipped it to you. That's not fired, disassembled or parts replaced...same condition as it was shipped to you. Once received in the same condition we shipped it to you, we'll issue you a refund of your PURCHASE PRICE. We do not refund shipping because you don't like the item, spent too much on it, have buyer's remorse, your wife/girlfriend told you to return it or you just lost your job or had an unexpected bill come your way...HOWEVER...please see exception below.

    EXCEPTION to refund of shipping

    Folks, I'm human. I make mistakes just like everyone else. If you buy something from me and I've made a gross error in my description or we send you the wrong item, I WILL refund your shipping as well as your purchase price. It doesn't happen often, but my policy has always been I won't have a customer out money on my mistake.

    Why won't you call me????

    This has been a fairly recent development. We're a small mostly family run business and we run a very busy retail gunshop and sell quite a bit online. MOST people want two things from us...accurately described items that are shipped rapidly/securely. We receive calls from people who insist that we must call them before they'll send payment. If that's you, please don't bid. We're not going to call every winning bidder to give them the same information contained in our invoice. I simply don't have the hours in the day to accomplish this.

    I've won your item, now what?

    After you win an auction from us, we will send you a detailed invoice to your Gunbroker email address within one to two business days of the auctions close. If you win an item late Friday afternoon/evening, it's going to be Monday before you get your invoice. If you can't wait for that invoice, your cost is your winning bid plus the quoted shipping. You can send that amount to the address listed on the winning bidder page you'll get from Gunbroker.

    Non Paying Bidders

    Gunbroker's terms of use state that the buyer loses his/her rights to the auction if payment is not received within 10 days of auctions end. We send NPB REMINDERS at about 6 to 7 days post auction if payment is not in hand. At 10 days we send a NPB ALERT. After day 11, we relist the item, post appropriate feedback and request our fees back from GB.

    "Let me know when you receive my payment"

    We don't do this. We're not going to stop working on processing someone else's purchase, to contact you to tell you your payment arrived. We DO include tracking information with every package shipped. Once you receive tracking information on your purchase, you'll know that we've received your payment.

    Why won't you contact my local FFL holder?

    If you win a firearm from me, you'll need to go to your local gunshop and ask them to fax, email or snail mail us a LEGIBLE and VALID copy of their FFL. Once we've received that copy AND your payment, we'll ship the firearm ALONG WITH A COPY OF OUR LICENSE for your dealer to log into their FFL bound book. It is your responsibility to contact your local shop. We will NOT send them a copy of our FFL first to "prove we exist" or placate them. If your local shop refuses to send an FFL for an online transfer you'll need to find a local shop that does.
