Another "No Reserve" Penny " photo penny.gif"Auction from Dust2Dollars.com
 Fine Estate & Consignment Firearms!

This auction is for a WWI Imperial German LP.08 "Artillery Luger" that was manufactured by DWM "Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken " in 1917 with the serial number of 518b. Chambered for the 9mm Parabellum, this Luger wears the 8" barrel with the 800-meter adjustable rear sight. Condition is very fine and all the serial numbered parts are properly matching with the exception of the grips and the magazine! They are correct for the gun but have no serial numbers on them. There are NO import or export markings on the pistol. The original bluing is in very fine condition on our 101 year old pistol with the most distracting wear on the front grip strap. Good straw color remains on the trigger, safety, takedown lever, magazine release and ejector. The bright bluing on the small parts remains as shown in all the high resolution  full sized pictures below. The grips are in excellent condition with excellent checkering with no cracks, chips or repairs. The bore has very fine lands and groves with some light pitting as shown. The adjustable front sight is complete with the small screw set and the rear sight is has all parts with matching numbers. The right side of the receiver displays all the Imperial Army acceptance stamps. The extractor is marked "Geladen" on the left side and the safety is marked "Gesichert" with the safe position being downward.  The barrel and the receive are marked with the full serial number and suffix. Additionally there is 8.82 reflected on the barrel which was the proof marking of land diameter of the barrel or gauge markings. The pistol has one small ding on the right side of the trigger guard as shown. The stock slot on the back has NOT been ground off and is intact. Overall this is a very fine example of a LP.08 Artillery Luger.

This frame will be shipped fully insured with signature tracking to your FFL dealer or C&R holder USPS Priority Mail for $45.00.
