Very pristine surplused Ohio National Guard ONG Remington 870 shotgun. You’ll have a tough time finding a nicer example. These shotguns came in either fixed or folding stock variants, with only 1200 total having been released and only about 400 of those with folding stocks. These have factory Remington “Law Enforcement Only” marked top folding stocks and Remington bayonets lugs. The wood “corncob” forend looks great and no wrench marks are present on the magazine tube extension nut. The bayonet lug screws are all present and do not appear to have been touched. The sling swivel (difficult to find) is also present on the stock. The only blemishes to be found on this shotgun are very minimal wear to the bottom of the shell lifter, a light mark on the top of the barrel from the stock (have placed a small piece of Velcro there to prevent further scratching), and a small mark on the left side of the receiver and trigger guard which is likely rack wear (barely shows up in the photos). The ONG Military Police utilized these shotguns at the Lucasville Prison Riot and during activation in support of Hurricane Katrina. This particular shotgun appears to have been brought to the range a few times for qualifications but has no wear that would indicate it was used in a manner most duty weapons are. Please feel free to contact me with further questions or for additional pictures. Thanks! Please note your FFL must accept firearms from non-FFL holders. No PayPal...prefer a USPS money order or certified check. Buyer pays $20 shipping. I’ll cover anything over that. 3 day inspection period while the firearm is at your FFL.
