Here I have a lightly used pre-conversion Ruger Single Six .22 cal revolver with 5-1/2” barrel. The 170xxx serial number indicates manufacture in roughly 1960. This trusty six gun appears to have been carried some but shot very, very little -- just look at how LIGHT the track mark is on the cylinder! It has some holster and normal bluing wear (mostly on the barrel; the frame looks great!) for a gun that was carried quite a bit, but the owner took very good care of the gun and there are very few “bangs and bruises” on it. It does appear that the grips have been re-finished as the bottom front corner of the left grip is missing a small chunk, but the finish is uniform, so they must have sanded it down and re-finished both grips to improve the revolver’s aesthetics. It’s a Ruger, so you know what kind of quality went into making it. I wish it were a convertible, but it will only come with the .22LR cylinder (it will still fire .22 Short, .22 Long and .22LR ammunition). The cylinder is very tight which is also indicative of low round count. It has a drift-adjustable rear sight.

This is a consignment; the owner shot it the day before he brought it in and says it is very accurate. I have not test-fired this pistol personally, but it passes every function test I have conducted with flying colors. Based on its’ condition and my function testing, I see no reason it wouldn’t function flawlessly under live-fire conditions as well.

Please review ALL of my photos and feel free to let me know if you have any questions – I’ll be happy to answer them for you.

When you WIN an auction, you are responsible for following through with payment. Please complete your research and be certain that you are able to pay for the item BEFORE you bid. If you decide to back out of a winning bid for ANY reason, you WILL be left negative feedback (as required by GunBroker in order to start the Final Value Fee refund process) – you also risk having your account suspended. The simple solution is to simply follow through with your purchases and only bid when you TRULY intend to buy.

Please note that all firearms we offer for sale on GunBroker are also available for sale in our retail store; we reserve the right to end any GunBroker listing if it does not have a bid. However, firearms that receive a bid on GunBroker will be pulled from our sales floor and are reserved for the high bidder of the GunBroker auction – these firearms will no longer be available for sale in our store. So, if you WANT an item I am offering, I strongly suggest you put a bid in NOW to make sure we don’t sell it at retail and pull the listing from GunBroker.

PLEASE be sure to look through ALL of our detailed photos of the gun so you can make your own assessments of condition -- photos say MUCH MORE than I can put into words!

No warranty expressed or implied on used firearms. All sales of firearms are AS IS and are FINAL – NO RETURNS will be accepted. For your own safety, please have your local gunsmith inspect any used firearm you purchase BEFORE shooting it.
