Picture colors are a bit washed out. True colors are much darker and closer to the first two pictures. I'll try to re-take and replace photos. Please ask for any additional info needed

Extremely low serial number Winchester M1 Carbine with correct early parts. This exceptional carbine was probably manufactured within the first month of Winchester's production. Winchester's serial #'s started at 1 million making this receiver, serial # 10035xx, one of the early ones off the production line. This is a spring tube receiver with the notched trigger housing lug. Rear sight is a type 1 marked with a square S on the left side. Barrel is Winchester and is marked with a flaming bomb, date of 11-42, PW in an oval proof, and a flaming bomb on the right side of the gas cylinder. ME is less than 1. Front sight is an unmarked type 1 with the thumbnail cut. Bolt is a type 2 marked W on the right lug. The internal parts include a type 1 marked firing pin marked W, a type 3 extractor marked W, and a type 1 ejector. The trigger housing is a type 1 marked with a W and a partial circle. Internals include a W marked trigger, a type 1 sear marked W, a type 1 dog leg hammer marked W, a type 1 long serrated face mag catch marked W, a type 1 serrated push safety, 22 coil hammer spring, and an early trigger housing pin with the spring. The slide is a type 1 marked W supported by an early spring tube with the tab and the early flat tip spring guide. Stock is a nearly perfect type 1 I cut high wood marked with a boxed WRA over GHD and an ordnance wheel on the right side, a circled P on the bottom of the pistol grip, and a correctly unmarked sling well. Hand guard is a "bull nose" type 1 marked W. Butt plate is early Winchester. Recoil plate is a type 2 angle cut marked W. Barrel band is an unmarked 2 weld type 1. Carbine comes with one NOS mag marked SW only shipped where legal to own. This is an exceptionally nice correct Winchester carbine with the earliest serial number that I have ever seen. DISCLOSURE: This carbine receiver had an 1/8" crack at the upper edge of the spring tube channel. It did not compromise the integrity of the receiver but I had it repaired, re-heat treated and the receiver and barrel were refinished with the correct dull black bluing that the first 5k carbines received. Happy to accept your C&R FFL for this firearm! FULLY SUPPORT CALIFORNIA BUYERS!!! Buyer pays actual shipping costs including shipping insurance.
