An excellent Winchester Model 64 lever action rifle chambered for the .32 Winchester Special cartridge. This is the standard rifle version with a 24" barrel with a perfect bore. Serial number is 1588688, indicating production in 1949. This vintage rifle is in very fine used condition, has no problems and is unaltered from its original factory configuration. Receiver and barrel have 95+% of the original deep blue with a wear on the edges and underside of the receiver; no rust anywhere. The receiver has not been drilled and tapped for a scope. The stamped barrel markings are extremely sharp. The walnut stocks are also in excellent condition with the original factory finish intact, never sanded, and all wood is proud to the adjoining metal. There are a few light scratches; no gouges, splits, or cracks. The correct, original factory front bead sight and rear semi-buckhorn sight are intact. The front sight still has the hood. The butt stock is equipped with the original steel butt plate it left the factory with. The action is smooth and functions perfectly. In summary, a collector grade Model 64 that will be a great addition to your collection or use it as it was intended for as a top notch deer gun. I will ship via USPS Priority Mail in a new padded gun case insured, for $50, anywhere in the continental U.S. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will be additional. I accept payments by bank check or money order and will also accept payment by any of the major credit cards but will have to add on the 3% processing fee to the final price. Please email with any questions, thanks for looking and bidding.
