(MAKE AN OFFER) E008K, RARE model. Made about 10% smaller in all it's dimensions from the infantry musket, all brass furnished. All markings too worn to read anymore, converted to percussion in the 1830's, no doubt an upgrade for the surplus export market of the time. The nipple and bolster are broken off and missing and the hammer won't stay cocked (probably needs sear/tumbler notch tune up.) Sound full length walnut stock, brass trigger guard is missing an inch or so of tang plate, missing both sling swivels. Retains original steel ramrod. A truly rare model for an elite force that numbered only a few thousand in those days. Overall 51" length and retains lug for socket bayonet and front sight on band. Very restorable specimen, few survived at all. Original, ship weight 10 pounds. SAFETY NOTICE: We do not sell firearms, only collectible antiques, if you shoot them, it's at your own risk and we are not liable for anything you do.
