The Aselkon IT1 Semi-Auto Field 4+1 capacity 12-gauge shotgun has a tactical 18.5” barrel and a 3” chamber. It uses a fast cycling “floating” bolt action and an inertia bolt locking system for positive head lockup with the breech.

You can get the gun in polymer or camouflage looks. The polymer version is all black. The camo version covers stock and forend. The barrel and receiver are bronze while the cheek rest, buttpad and ejection port are black.

The “IT” in IT1 stands for Inter Tactical 1. Inter is Aselkon’s rubric for a host of features including Inter Balanced, Inter Bored and InterPro Chokes.

The receiver is 7012-T6 aluminum alloy (instead of the more common 7075-T6). Both alloys incorporate zinc, but 7012-T6 has a smidge more. Zinc has great anti-corrosion properties, and indeed, ancient objects made with zinc alloys prove zinc alloy goods can last not decades but millennia! So, at the very least, with 7012-T6, you’ll have a conversation starter.

And atop the receiver is a black Picatinny rail. There’s no vented rib, thus the front red fiber optic sight is raised.

Inter Balanced refers to the gun’s precision drilled Inter Bored Barrel. The gun’s barrel is made of 4140 chromium alloy steel and is designed for both heavy and light loads. Also, these barrels are factory tested with high pressure 1500 BAR test cartridges.

The Aselkon IT1 Semi-Auto Field comes with a quintet of removable InterPro Chokes. The color-coded set includes C, IC, M, IM and F. The trigger guard has a visually arresting sharp bottom angle. And there is a nice, thick, black high-tech microcell buttpad at back that does wonders to soak up recoil.

The stock includes a straight pistol grip that echoes the lines of a detachable one, except it’s not detachable. Overall length is just over 4’ at 39.78”. Weight is 6.4 pounds. The gun also includes sling swivels.
