The B&T SPC9 FX is an advanced 9mmFX semi-automatic built to tight tolerances around a closed bolt blow back system. It fires non-lethal FX simunitions for very realistic training. The SPC9 FXs work with both FX marking and FX non-marking cartridges that are highly accurate out to about 25’.

To differentiate this gun from its 9x19mm lethal ammo siblings the 9mmFX model has a cobalt blue sheath to both its handguard and its upper receiver.

The highly modular and configurable all-black gun is part of B&T’s SPC9 lineup. It’s also ambidextrous, something both left-hand and right-hand users can all appreciate. Thus, it includes a folding ambidextrous M4/AR-type charging handle, magazine catch and safety/selector.

The handguard includes two NATO Accessory Rails (NARs) at 6 and 12 o’clock positions. The NARs are like MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails but built with metric measures and to tighter tolerances. And then it also includes M-LOK interfaces at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. The bottom NAR rail has 19 slots while the top NAR rail is full length extending across the entire receiver top as well. It anchors the Aimpoint Micro T-series primary sight and the flip up emergency sights in front and back.

The ruggedized Aimpoint Micro T-series 2 MOA red dot reflex sight is impressively small! It’s a high-quality component with up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single CR2032 lithium button battery. It has a black, hard anodized non-reflective finish on its aluminum housing and flip-up covers. The red dot sight weighs 4.6 ounces, has 8 daylight vision settings and four night vision settings. It can be submerged at up to 80’ and still work afterwards.

In back is a 6-position upside down curved L-shaped telescopic shoulder stock with minimal padding, size and weight.

On the bottom is a M4-type pistol grip that has excellent horizontal serrations and a gentle palmswell. It also has a storage compartment. A hydraulic buffer in back expedites follow-up shots and helps maintain accuracy.

The gun sells new with 10-round, 20-round and 30-round magazines (one of each!). It also includes a manual, case, sling, cleaning kit and QD front grip. The gun is 1.97” wide, and the barrel is 9.0” long. Overall length ranges from 27.9” down to 24.65” depending on the stock’s extension. Even with the red dot sight and a 30-round magazine, B&T states the height at just 12.2” and weight is 5.94 pounds.
