The gun’s smooth lines are eye-catching. The trim round action aids the gun’s low-profile receiver, which integrates perfectly with the wooden forend and stock. English-style scroll engraving embellishes the receiver, trigger guard and top lever.

Beretta engineered new leaf springs for faster firing pin engagement, making the mechanics more precise and even more crisp. Beretta redesigned the trigger guard to better hold the moving parts in place to facilitate maintenance.

Then there are the luscious, almost wet-looking, barrels. As you’d expect in this price, they are cold hammer forged for ultra-density and durability. Beretta’s Triblock design makes for a stronger unit and eliminates visible weld lines. The 28-gauge has a 28” barrel that’s paired only with the straight stock. The 20-gauge comes in either stock, both with 28” barrels. The 12-gauge has a 30” barrel model that has the pistol grip and beavertail forend while the 28” barrel 12-gauge comes in either stock configuration.
