The 4+1 Browning Gold “Golden Clays” Sporting Clays 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun lineup is embodied by models such as the Browning Gold “Golden Clays” Sporting Clays, Browning Gold “Golden Clays” Sporting Clays 2 and Gold "Golden Clays" Ladies Sporting Clays. Don’t let the prosaic names fool you: these are beautiful, robust single-barrel shotguns.

Other cool features abound. For instance, these come standard with three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Improved Modified, Modified, Skeet), a HiViz TriComp fiber-optic front sight and have built-in speed loading. The stock can be shim-adjusted to raise or lower the comb 1/8”. These guns use a ported chromed 2 3/4" chamber, gas-operated autoloader, and an active valve system to reliably cycle various loads. The HiViz TriComp fiber-optic front sight is slick because it uses light pipes that are easy to interchange for different colors (green, red, white) and shapes (round and triangular).

Let’s examine the standard Gold "Golden Clays" Sporting Clays to establish it as a comparison benchmark. The aluminum alloy receiver has wonderful lines.
