The threaded 16” long 4150 chrome lined barrel has a 1 to 10” twist. It comes with a pronged Advanced Armament Company (AAC) blackout flash suppressor that’s made of steel and has a 1/2”-28 TPI thread. It has an open end and three short prongs.

A medium Picatinny rail crests the top of the forged upper receiver, which is made of 7075-T6 aviation industry aluminum and has a shell deflector. The lower receiver is also 7075-T6 aluminum. Both upper and lower are anodized and Teflon coated. With improved durability and reliability in mind, the DPMS GII MOE Warrior has dual ejectors.

The F Marked front sight has a knob to control elevation while the Magpul MBUS back up/flip up spring-loaded rear sight is dual aperture and can be adjusted for windage. It’s made of injection molded polymer to keep its weight down, but still make it strong and impact resistant.

A medium handguard protects the barrel and has a few M-LOK slots on either sides. It also has a short hand stop at the front.

The pistol grip is straight both in front and back without any contouring and ahead of it is the beveled magwell.

The gun has a lightweight Magpul collapsible skeleton triangular stock that has a thick buttpad. The shielded release latch is contained within the triangular empty space.

The DPMS GII Moe Warrior has front and back sling studs and comes standard with a 30 round magazine making it a 30+1 gun. The gun weighs 7.3 pounds and has a collapsed total length of 34.25”.

DPMS Firearms is a subsidiary of Remington and has effectively disappeared as a stand-alone manufacturer. But the initialism DPMS stands for Defense Procurement Manufacturing Services and the company used to be located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
